Theatre

Theatre 1, 6^th grade: is an introductory class for only 1 semester (fall or spring) rather than full year with emphasis on the basics of staging, audience etiquette, improvisation, pantomime, duet scenes, and production of a class play.

Theatre 1, 7^th & 8^th grade: is an introductory class for the full year to either build upon basic knowledge or begin skills with emphasis on staging, audience etiquette, improvisation, pantomime, monologues and duet scenes, technical theatre areas, and theatre history.

Advanced Theatre, 7^th & 8^th grade: is an advanced level full year course for students who have taken a theatre arts class previously. Students will continue to study acting and technical skills through productions, including participating in UIL One Act Play Contest.
